This offer is valid for all customers around the world till January 1, 2007. :)

Some other things worth mentioning are the BD AV Plus offer for $49.95 (2 users, 2 years) and the BD Internet Security offer for $69.95 (2 users, 2 years)

That is a great offer, and if BD runs well on your system Go For It.

Maybe you have an inside track, Firecat.

    Regards,
    Jerry

Inside track? What do you mean? o_O

I already have a BitDefender license, but I got it before this offer was announced, though BD was kind enough to let me use my license on 2 PCs. :)

When I go to the BitDefender main site and click purchase, it shows me 2 users 2 years. Is that the same as 2 computers 2 years?

    Hello all,

For those that like retail boxed software:

I was in my local Houston-area Fry's Electronics store this morning (11/3/2006), and Fry's has retail boxed versions of both BD AV Plus and BD Internet Security for the same price and 2-year license as the BD Online Store, $49.99 and $69.99, respectively, both without rebates of any kind.

This is also the first time I have EVER seen BitDefender products for sale at Fry's BTW.

P.S. - I forgot to note in my first posting that both BD AV+ and BD IS at Fry's are for 2 PCs and 2 years, the same as the BD Online deal.......

BD has been good at permitting 2 computers on one license. I used that also.
Wish some others would do that. I know some do.
I think that probably F-Prot has the best license.

Well, I went to the Asia Pacific website for BitDefender (http://www.bitdefender.com.sg) and I can see the very same offer. Also on the Australian sites, so its probably a worldwide offer.

I received an e-mail from BitDefender for a survey yesterday. On completion of the survey, I will have 3 months of license extension. :D

Yes, the survey is indeed a long one, asking so many questions, some are quite boring :( , but I finally completed it. :D

    Hey all;

I was checking online for some other stuff and saw this thread; wanted to let you guys know that our site at http://antivirus.citationsoft.com always has a 10% discount on the products, INCLUDING the 2 year / 2 user special. So if you want to get it, and cheaper than everywhere else, feel free to hit us up :)

Its not the 10% discount that amazes me but rather the 75% off on renewal of BitDefender!

If your site had come up earlier, you would have had me as a customer!

But now I already have a BitDefender license, so I don't know how I'll migrate to your store's offers....:doubt:

Hmm...The post has been edited by the administrator but I think I got what you were trying to say - Renewals are just 25% off. Is that right? :)

yeah - sorry about that; the link that was snapped off was in case you wanted to use it since you had concerns about making use of the current special(s) going on. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it :)

So, instead of a 3 months extension to the existing key, it is giving a new key that is good for 3 months. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr o_O

Simply use that key once your current key runs out. The countdown only start once you activate it in the software.(At least that's what they told me*cross finger*)
