8Signs -Features You'd Like to See

Had the chance to chat with the developer of 8Signs Firewall. He asked what features are important to you in a stateful packet firewall? What would you like to see new. With the internet becoming more complexed each day along with the pitfalls....he would appreciate you insight and opinions. Have a good

 

I’ve not used 8Signs however from my past observations of James Grant’s Software Firewall products I’ve noticed he never implemented one of the most crucial Features that allows it’s customers to view the Packet’s Contents that allows people like myself to efficiently identify between different Scans…, … Hacks, … Flood packets…

 

The following entries were added to the ban list:

12.158.80.0 - 12.158.80.255
64.94.110.11 - 64.94.110.255
216.52.17.0 - 216.52.17.255

To prevent connection with VeriSign it was necessary to add a rule blocking ARP broadcasts to the above IP's.

suggestion? Ban list applies to all protocols.
