    Whenever I open Spyware Blaster to update, a file with the above name appears in my C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder. I run W98SE. What does it do? Is it OK to delete it as I like to keep that folder free of unneccessary files?

    You can safely remove that tmp file....and the other one that gets created when the program is opened up....if they do not succesfully clear when the program is closed.
