    Got to see the Avast! BART cd "in action" on an unbootable xp machine last week. KaaZaa installed and NAV with no updates past 2001.

    847 infected files. w32.Kwbot, and w32.Parite worms.

    A shout-out to the BART cd: It got 'em all, and the machine booted normally (albeit with damaged video) after the cleanup. :D

    hehe, i should probably update the definitions on my parents comp. i installed norton on it about 3 years ago. i doubt they have updated the definitions

    I wonder if that version of NAV will be able to handle todays updates.
