I read and speak french much better that I write it. Funny thing is......my english grammer is not that much better. We have a lot of Quebec slang here. If they tried to teach Paris french in Ontario most kids would be lost.

Half of my family only speaks french. My dad decided (one of his many wise choices) that we kids should not learn it as it was mostly english where we were living. My kids have went to a french only, and french/english school since they were three. 2 differnet schools.

They tend to speak it with each other when they want to talk about me. They think I don't understand most of it.
