    Hi Guys,

On 10/22 I will download 'Windows 7 Home Premium 64 upgrade' option from new PC. Current OS Vista

Can I do a clean install with the Win7 upgrade, I download?I remember some controversy about this & MS wasn't sure. I've also heard about NOT entering key, then reboot & enter key. Is this kosher?

    Thanks
    Rico

If I opt in to the 7 Home Premium Upgrade and upgrade from Home Premium Vista, will I be able to do a 7 reinstall down the road without having to reinstall Vista ? I am thinking that I can in that Vista came preloaded with my computer.

    TIA

There is some uncertainty about this it seems.
I intend to make an image of my disk before installing Windows 7 (just in case).
After installing Windows 7, another disk image takes care of the 'reinstalling' issue.
