64bit vista

    I guess if you have prefetch enabled that could happen? I dont have that enabled. Mainly because it grinds my hard drive too much (about 10 minutes every reboot) , and I really didn't notice any difference in speed. Especially Vista 64 is lightning fast loading apps anyway imo.

    Yep, it's very fast loading. I have not tried to turn off prefetch, so if it comes enabled out of the factory then I am using it I guess... As you say, things are quite fast in general, so I have not had much reason yet to try to tweak anything... seems very good as is..

    My Vista Ultimate64 is running fine here with 2GB RAM. More important is a good graphic card in my eyes.
