MBAM will run nicely along with your NOD32 :)

Avast was one of the first ones out with x64 compatible AV, Avira works well too.

NOD32 (and ESS) and Outpost Security Suite have native 64 bit versions. Most of the other products are 32 bit software that is 64 bit compatible.

BitDefender has 64-bit versions of all their anti-xxxx software products as well. I'm running BD Internet Security on my new Vista 64-bit laptop with no problems.

I assume you're talking Vista x64. Norton 360 and Avast both run very well on it. If XP x64, then Norton won't install, nor will McAfee. Actually, McAfee and Panda both run pretty well on Vista x64 also. Avira runs well, but I had an update issue with it, so I don't use it. In general, I think you'll find most AVs will now run fine on x64. Take your pick.... :)

Norton "SONAR" does not work on x64. Sonar is the real-time heruistics.

had only 3 SONAR detections since last summer, even when messing with dangerous malware.

You hear right many bad tales about AVG paid but I have it running on my 64 bit with Outpost FW.

I have not heard anything recently bad about the FW AVG suites. :doubt:
