Just got a new 64 bit computer. Does anyone have any advice on 64 bit free firewalls that are available?

For Windows 7? Because I think the Outpost Firewall Free is still not Windows 7 ready.

PrivateFirewall and PC Tools Firewall Plus are also free and support Windows 7 64-bit.

    Cheers

I recommend Windows 7 & Vista Firewall Control.

I'm very pleased with Windows 7 Firewall Control on my Vista 64bit machine.:)

I tried PC Tools Firewall Plus & was initially happy with it, but soon discovered it to be buggy & a resource hog.:(

I tried some others, but they had their problems.

I'm looking forward to trying Online Armor's 64bit version. I really like Online Armor on my XPsp3 machine.

For now, Windows 7 Firewall Control is the only acceptable 64bit firewall.

PC Tools firewall is working pretty well on my Windows 7 64-bit system. Am using it with Avast beta and Prevx.

    Hello:

When I took the link it went to

    http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_7_&_Vista_Firewall_Control_d5578.html

Which is NOT the MS 2 way FW. It is a 3rd party FW free product from Sphinx.

    Was that what is intended?

    Just looking for clarification

The Sphinx product is just a nice front end/GUI for the Win Firewall....
