    I can't help but wonder if their "non-updated" stats are at least partly based on records of users who'd downloaded and installed Adobe sometime in the distant past but who later dumped it in favor of a third-party reader, like probably the majority of us.

    A very few apps, when uninstalled, open an internet connection to the publisher to ask why you're uninstalling, but I don't think Adobe products work that way.
