A new high watermark! Speaking of which...suddenly, LowWaterMark, been here all of 5 minutes, is a Mod? Completely unannounced? And me, here over 20 years, I don't even get a special title?

What's the world coming to, I don't know, here I am, knuckles worn to the bone, nobody cares....

...but congrats, Paul! I wonder how many other security boards (if, in fact) can claim the same meteoric rise? Kinda doubt it. :)

    Hi Checkout,

We do pick our mods carefully, be assured ;) Their qualities are in no way related to how long they've been a registered member.

Any title in particular you would fancy? :D

As for the world: I haven't the faintest idea. As for your presence over here: highly appreciated!

Thanks, on behalf of all. Don't know about other boards - and although we encourage registering (if only to avoid name spoofing), it never has been or will be our aim to become big in regard to registered members. As long we can serve lurkers and posting guest the best we can, we are happy campers! :D.

    regards.

    :D Hi Martin and Paul!

Why a rhinoceros? It gives me the image of the quintessential rhino pawing the earth and stamping his feet before charging! Is that what you mean? Or, are you now a member of the Rhinoceros Party?

    Just curious! ~LOL~

Congratulations Martin on the special title! Wow! Squeaking/shrieking wheels really do get the oil!!!

    Best regards from Larry! ;)

What do we know about rhinos? Poor eyesight, thick skinned, and overly prepared to attack.

    Hmm...remind you of anyone?

well let's look closer! LOL! Could this be your Spirit Totem Checkout?

Spirit Totem - Rhinoceros... Wisdom, past life connections, brings energy in for one's own solitude, spiritual idealism, high sensitivity to feelings and smell.

    - snip from Sayahda's site -

"This amazing animal holds the energy of spiritual idealism. In part this is due to their peaceful and timid nature. Although the rhinoceros has a reputation for being dangerous, especially the black rhino, it is generally quite passive and only becomes aggressive when threatened. It is often seen going out of its way to avoid trouble."

oh yes! This new title suits you! :D

Congrats on your new title Checkout!
    -----------

Also, a warm Welcome and Congratulations to our new Mods, root and LowWaterMark! i have already read some of LWM's posts on another board so i am looking forward to reading more here! And i've always found root's post very interesting and helpful!

    Great choices Paul! :D

As Diamond CD is the real Gem there's that part; as i till now am the only female mod and for DCS a Gem Motherator is a very suitable title isn't it? And other forum mothers there are for sure even though not moderators yet, and you can't shorten it to Gem Moth nonono! A female global moderator could be a Forum Mother maybe, i don't know, but such a person should be an admin at least.
