I thought this information might prove thought-provoking:

    From 4/14 to 7/7/03:

Out of 17 bad guys scattered over more than 120 computers, and caught by our A/V where I work--14 were either Trojan Horse programs w/backdoor or other exploit capability, or JS or VBS worms.

    A smattering of the culprits: JS.Exception.Exploit, w32.Sobig, JS.Fortnight.B, VBS.Haptime.A, JS.Clid.Gen

    Food for thought! :D
