I installed SpyBlaster 11-27-03 and the current updates, but get 2-error messages that read, "SpyBlaster has caused an error in (either) MCHOOK.DLL (and) HKGBL95.DLL SpyBlaster will now close." How do I fix these errors? I've restarted my system a few times, but I still get the same error messages. My system OS is Windows ME - with all current MS updates. Thanks

It would seem that error is related to McAfee VirusScan. A quote:

"If your computer fails to boot properly after installing or upgrading to VirusScan 4.5.1 or you are getting VxD errors or any error related to MCHOOK.DLL, to correct the problem Network Associates recommends rebooting in Safe Mode, uninstalling VirusScan, and then reinstalling VirusScan again".

So you may need to uninstall and reinstall VirusScan, if you have it installed (if you uninstalled prior to this happening, you may be looking at an incomplete uninstall).

    Best regards,
