I just updated to version 2.51.20 and now MSN Messenger doesn't work. It starts fine but when its trying to connect it crashes. Shows just error message "Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close".

Even if i stop MSN Messenger to autoconnect and check tools -> options -> connection -> "it starts to check connection" -> crash

Does anyone else have same kind of problem?

Using Windows XP Pro + SP2 + all updates from Windows Update

Do you have Imon in higher effeiciency or higher compatibility for MSN?

My daughter's PC had a similar problem until I switched to Higher Compatibility, although her problem was that MSN would crash during operation, not during initial log in.

    Its "Higher compatibility"

I uninstalled NOD32 and Messenger works just fine. Then I installed older version of NOD32, 2.50.25 if I remember correctly. But Messenger does same thing. Strange...

Then I restored Ghost image, that I made before before I updated NOD32 and it seems to works just fine! Maybe its some setting that makes Messenger crash. I'll try to check it later.
