    Hello,

Is there a way to have the laptop (Asus 1215N) SHUTDOWN when the lid is closed? I researched and see that lid_ac and lid_battery control this, but shutdown isn't an accepted value. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks,

    NN

In power management, it can be set to hibernate when lid is closed.

Thanks all. Being Wilders, I want it OFF...no keys (encrypted LVM) in RAM. I guess I'll look for keyboard shortcuts or a desktop shortcut (if they exist in Linux) next. Thanks again.
