Australia's PC Authority recently did a Security Suite Roundup and Eset Smart Security scored a 5 out of 6 for 100 percent malware detection in their tests. I forgot why they marked them down from 6 out of 6, maybe for being bare-bones but who the hell needs all the added bells and whistles like nanny crap? Norton only scored 4 out of 6 for having complicated menus and less than 100 percent detection.

It's just one test though. No product has a 100 percent malware detection capability - it's an impossibility given the huge number of malware samples in existence.

Not only that, it gives users a false sense of security. I've always hated any test that gives a product 100% score.

I imagine anyone can make a AV detect 100 percent by just the round up of the malware samples they no the AV detects and there you have it.:p
