Yeah FF maybe we have a choice.

Maybe (in near future) chosing an av software will be based on task bar icon(how pretty it is, colors, sign, is it animated). :D :D

    I Like the idea…:D

:) Im sure if everyone was conditioned to believe that the prestigious and highly sort after " Donald Duck and Goofey anti virus awards" were the most wanted awards then the anti virus companies would have that on there sites too ,right next to virus bulletin 100% awards.Simply because thats what they know sells

When I wrote the list of some av:s that didn't even notice the last VB 100% Award, I already knew that BitDefender had informed the last VB 100% Award only because it was the first one to BitDefender! :D :D :D

What the heck is "F-secure Anti-Virus 3.12"? Current version is 5.41...
I think, they just mixed things up and put the F-Prot-Engine number as F-Secure version number... :D

But then: how could F-Secure miss more zoo-virii than KAV, although both use same engine and signatures?
Always confusion about these scanners... o_O

I was also quite embarrassed too, the whole name was F-Secure Anti-Virus 3.12.410, but maybe it was a mistake from VB?

Congratulations to all them 5 (or 3) and especially to NOD32, because it has at last recognized the VOICE OF A CUSTOMER!

At last NOD32 is able to scan runtime packers and learned the lesson of the latest av-test.org 2-2003 test! If I am wrong again, it's because my poor German! :D :D :D

Let's wait how fast NOD is after those unpacking skills!

No hard feelings, have a nice day! :D

NOD's done clean sweeps of the ITW and zoo viruses before in VB tests as I recall, so this is not a unique event.

Also, Eset's been working on NOD v.2 since last year (including I believe better detection of packed, compressed files). They do seem more responsive to user's concerns and issues but this too is not just a recent development. :)
