My post on burning a good rescue CD was too long to launch into this different problem, that still needs resolving. I had the same mouse/keyboard problem under Dell bios A05.

Now with a good Build 937 Rescue CD, my USC connected wireless optical mouse & USB wireless keyboard still won't work. I have to connect the same wireless mouse & keyboard thru PS/2 plugs; then they both work with the rescue CD. They are pretty "standard" Microsoft products.

    Any help Acroniso_O
    Thanks

    Hello Charlie,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

First of all, please make sure that USB Legacy Support is disabled in BIOS settings.

I would also recommend you to try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If that does not help then please collect the following information:

    - Create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please keep both your mouse and keyboard connected to the PC via the wireless connection.

    - Create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please connect your mouse and keyboard using the PS/2 connection, since in other case you just would not be able to create that sysinfo.txt file.

Send all the collected files and information to support@acronis.com along with the exact models of your wireless mouse and keyboard and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
