Hi - Anyone offer any help/advice on this:

When I try to update Spybot - I get the message !!!badchecksum! and a red circle with a line through it next to the Detection Rules box. Have never experienced any problems before. Thank you

    Try a different mirror.

I am getting bad checksum too. I have just run ace utilities but not chosen to reboot. (I just wait til I am switiching 0ff) I wondered if that could affect the download from spybot

    Hey Billbunter...welcome to Wilders :)

I don't think that would affect your Spybot updating.

I have gotten the 'bad checksum' a time or two as well and usually changing download sites ("mirrors") as bigbuck explained above solves my problems.

Try all of them. If they are experiencing a huge load on the servers, you may get that error.
