    That's a nightly build, NOT A BETA .

    HiHi,

    Is 1.5 also known as DeerPark? I can't find any deerpark on its product page. o_O

    Deer Park is still in alpha testing. If you querry the Mozilla site/project pages you may find some info, but it is not ready for prime time yet.

    So who has tried the new firefox 1.5 beta?

    is is stable and wat are the new things that are implemented?

    It was sent to me stating it WAS the BETA.

    so its not for testing then is there ny new for the beta version release?

    Thanks Ron. I changed the title of my thread to reflect this is not the Beta.

    My apologies for any confusion. I know now I gotta check links my friend sends to me better.. lol :D

    After previous experiences with these beta builds, I think I'll wait this time. :D I have mine set up just the way I like it at the moment.

    I am with you Ron. We need some beta testers here to check it out for us first.. *cough*Notok*cough* ;) :p :D

    Installed it about an hour ago, seems stable and browsing appears to be a little snappier. Be advised you may not have the functionality of many extensions at least for me. No script worked but google toolbar is not working along with remove it permanantly. Themes appear to be limited also, but I expected that.
    The options interface is revamped a bit.
    First impression is very positive and I believe the final release will probably be a noticeable improvement.
    I will post any other findings later.

    A good reason for me not to use the beta version. I can wait Firefox won't run away.

    Normally I wait but I have a spare comp now that I like to abuse with new and beta versions. LOL
