Default virus problem on a computer

Has anyone had a virus the creates hundreds of exe files and fills up the virtual memory on your computer. I have tried zonealarm, spybot, and stinger to name a few but to no avail. I end up with files that start with ~1.tmp.exe, or ~ab6.tmp.exe. The first group of characters change but the tmp.exe remains the same.
Thanks,
Wayne

www.McAfee.com

Thanks Tom
I am downloading kaspersky now. Each of these exe files try to open an other file called ctvivxV. however, I don't know what that file does.

I downloaded kaspersky anti-virus and after installing it and rebooting my comuter 3 times was able to defeat the virus and clean up the disk. Thanks Tom772.
