I unplugged an image, and got the next error in the event viewer:

    Event ID: 57

    Source: Ftdisk

In order to repair the disk error I ran chkdsk /f, and got the next message:
"replacing invalid security id with default security id for file" exactly 128.000 times!

This resulted in a complete reset of permissions on the drive!

I red in this forum that the 57 event id is a bogus message, but if it is a bogus message why does chkdisk result in disaster?

I got true image server for windows 8.0 build 859, on windows server 2003 webserver edition.

    Hope you can help!

    Hello reinout,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We regret to inform you that mounting option of Acronis TrueImage Server build 859 does not function properly. Please download the latest build of Acronis True Image 8.0 (i.e. build 903) from our site. This should solve the problem.

    Thank you.
