Default First Defense ISR

Hi all I use first defence ISR i noticed in msconfig it starts up if i untick it will it stop it working? just incase i need to reboot to a snapshot? or is it better to leave it start up i did email them but havnt heard thanks MD

So few of us users have any problems with FDISR .

Hi Maddawgz

I have never worried about FDISR being there at startup, but I suspect it is only a scheduling thing. What I would do is try disabling it in Misconfig, and rebooting. If you get the preboot screen you should be fine. If you don't get it then once rebooted reenable the startup item.

However unless you really have a resource problem I'd just leave it alone.
