I think if you gave us more info, including a link etc, we might be in a better postion to respond to you.

    Hi,

I have noticed that they are listed at Virus Total website. When I have submitted files they are added very quickly but I have never tried the desktop AV on my computer yet?

Sorry I can't be of more help

    Kind Regards

    Jlo

I gave Quickheal a trial last year. About all I can say is that it was light on resources & had an easily understandable GUI. At that time the trial did not allow updates to signatures. Therefore, I sent QH a message asking about the frequency of updates to their signatures. After over 2 weeks with no reply, I followed up.

About a week after my second message I received a very rudely worded message from QH that said, in effect, "We update as often as we feel it is necessary." :p

The most favorable comment I can make is -- it uninstalled cleanly.

You have too register to see those comparatives.

CATQuickHeal failed in the latest comparative on Virus Bulletin which was June 2005.

I have tried cat quick heal several times and it never fails to disapoint me. I personally won't depend on it to protect my computer.

CAT scored less than 35% detection on my inhouse test against 52,000 malware samples. I've also talked to a few people that tested it and found it scored extremely low on non-ITW tests. Also the people that make this product are extremely rude to anyone that wants to test it and have threatened me personally if I published any test results.

This product is best avoided in my opinion.
