Here is I installed Nod32 with the magnificent indications of Blackspear but when I receive a file of MSN 7 it opens me a window of Nod32 but nothing is to parametrize in the Actions and the Options.

It is to mark Command Line and that scans but I would wish that that cleans the infected files and that the window does not open but that it made it without interrupting me.

What is that somebody few to help me?

Thank you in advance and saddened my English is average.

    Hi,

You can use the same setting from Blackspears:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=37509&page=4

    Number 77:

    The configuration in my MSN is: "C:\Arquivos de programas\ESET\nod32.exe" /adware /ah /all /arch+ /clean /cleanmode /delete /heur+ /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /quarantine /quit+ /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /scanmem+ /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /wrap+

This way, every file you receive, will be scanned by NOD32, But I don't know how to scan a file without open NOD32's interface.

    Best Regards,

    DonKid.

When you recieve a file via MSN Messenger AMON will scan it because of "scanning of newly created files"...

OK I believe that IMON already scans files also but I am not sure I put the command line we shall see well if that works.

    Hello,

To get IMON to scan transferred files in MSN Messenger, go to 'Tools' in MSN's toolbar and choose 'Options...' In the new window select 'File Transfer' and tick the box beside 'Scan files for viruses using:' Then press the 'Browse' button and locate nod32.exe which is in the Eset folder.

Bandicoot probably didn't mean IMON, but the NOD32 on-demand scanner. To err is human :-]

I made it but when I had to ask to somebody to send me a file the window of the NOD32 appeared but the options were not put nor the actions made it scanned but without making anything the same step clean it.

In made to you the "C" of Control Centrer disappears ?

If I go to where Bandicoot says, I have exactly this
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\Eset\nod32.exe" /scanfile+ /adware /ah /all /arch+ /clean /cleanmode /delete /heur+ /heurdeep /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /quarantine /scanmbr- /scanboot- /scanmem- /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /quit+ /list+ /break- /selfcheck+ /pack+
    :)
Some of the options are not actually required but oh well, they are there anyway :)

Marcos, but doesn't MSN Messenger use HTTP connections for their transfers?
Haven't checked though, but i think IMON should scan files...

Actually, Marcos was correct... it was a bit early in the day for me. :D

I did in fact mean that the on-access scanner (AMON) will check transferred files, not IMON. And I guess that's what Marcos meant... but he wrote 'on-demand'. Ya see.... we're only human after all. ;)

That works perfectly well at the moment thanks to all to have answered me.

I marked what "Nod32 User" to give as line of code and that works. Thanks to all and to you Donkid who at the beginning of the topic had me to give the solution but it is me who have it badly to use.

    Good evening everybody.
