Default Restoring Image to other partitions

Is it possible to restore an image I created of my C:\ drive to another Primary partition other than C:\? The reason why I ask is because I tried restoring the image to my C:\ drive on my main system and it had an estimated wait time ot 3hrs for a 1.6GB image! So I plugged the HD to my secondary system but I only have the option to restore to the C:\ drive of the secondary system since the C:\ drive of the primary system shows up with a different drive letter. I'm not sure if trying another system will make restoring faster but how can restore images to different partitions?

Hello DOA,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

You are able to restore the image to different partition. The letter assignment is something specific for particular operating system, not for the disk itself. Each operating system has its own system of letters for the same drive.

Thank you.
