Sleeper Agents: Stealthy Attack and Defense Technology

The "Sleeper Agent" model of attack technology revolves around the core ingredient of any infiltration model from the assassin to the intelligence agent: disguise of both physical appearance and behavior. In this paper Drew Copley, Senior eEye Research Team member, will go over a wide variety of "sleeper agent" type attacks -- as they have happened already and as they are bound to eventually happen -- as well as some methods of protection against these attacks. The article starts off with a general overview and then introduces several potential sleeper agent attack models. Finally, the author will drill into some protection methods against these attack models.
