Default Autochk program not found

I have two installations of Windows XP, each on a different primary partition. I am using OSS. Unless I make both partitions visible, I get the autochk program not found error and automatic reboot. I want to hide the unused partition. I have discovered, however, that the two installations are not entirely independent of each other. If I load XP #2, for example, XP #1's desktop loads even though it is not the boot disk. I have checked the directory and file paths under OSS and made sure that they point to the correct place; however, I am unable to solve the problem. Thanks for any help.

Hello Adam,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Multiboot Managing Software.

Could you please clarify how you installed two copies of Windows: did you install the second one with the first one present in the system? Also please describe whether you installed Acronis OS Selector after the second operating system was installed?

Thank you.
