Hi
I've been using Kaspersky for quite a while. Anyway, I've been having a few problems with it the other day, so I decided to try a different anti virus program. Thus far, I'm really liking Eset Nod32. I'm currently using the trial. One thing that I did notice is that when I used Kaspersky, a full scan came out with over 700,000 files. Now, with Nod32 (with everything maxed) it's like 379,000 or so files. What i'm asking is, why the big difference in the number of files? There's really some good things about Nod32. I actually defragged my disks without having to disable the monitor (Nod32) Performance in general is a lot more peppy. World Of Warcraft seems smoother. Anyway, my key runs out in July for Kaspersky, so if I decide to buy the full version (which I'm certain I will) it's probably just a matter of uninstalling the trial and so forth, then installing the paid version? Thanks. |

Thanks once again for all of your replies.
I purchased a one year of Nod32 earlier this morning, and thus far all is going well. However, on one of the config screens, when it has advanced heuristics, there is a blue hyperlink "more" Nothing happens when it is clicked on. Other than that, I couldnt be happier. |

When I double click on nod32 icon, (on demand manual scanner) in the setup tab, threat sense scanning options. When advanced heuristics is clicked, there is a dialog with the title of
Nod32 warning some text and a blue link with more. Other than that, zero problems. Quote:

The link works here like a charm. Couldn't it be that you're running an obsolete version of NOD32? I'd bet it must work with v. 2.50

Thanks. Well, when I click on it nothing happens. I downloaded and installed the newest version from Esets site. I can open the help file though.

Can you confirm you actually have the English version 2.50.25 installed? Or simply let it be as it's a minor issue and no one else does not seem to have a problem with it.
