Unhappy False Virus Report when Install Program

Hi

Whenever i try to install an upgrade to one of my programs, MailList King:

http://www.xequte.com/maillistking/download.html

NOD32 blocks it with the following error:

Threat: probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus
Comment: Event occurred on a new file created by the application:

Cocume 1\HP_Owner\LOCALS 1\Temp\is MC2D7.tmp\is BISG7.temp

I installed the same program on a different computer (that has McAfee) and had no problem (even scanning the file and folder with McAfee). I e-mailed the MailList King developers and they said it is a problem with NOD32.

How can I resolve this (I need both programs)?

Thanks

Hi Rogert, with this issue can you please send an email to support@nod32.com and place a link to this thread. If you do not hear from Eset within 3 days (allows for weekends), please advise us here...

We would appreciate if you could keep us in the loop with your progress, as we all learn this way…

Cheers

You should probably send that file to them too for analysis

It'd be enough if you let NOD32 submit the file via ThreatSense. Check your Event log and make sure the file has actually been submitted, then drop an email to support@eset.com with the file name (you can copy it from the Event log). I've got one file, the program's executable, but I'm not sure if it's the same than yours.
