I have downloaded the latest version of kaspersky personal trial from their web site. But i am having a problem when i click on my broadband modem to dial the internet my computer crashes with the BSOD coming up saying dumping memory of something.

I have tried installing it three times and each time same thing happens.

What is wrong. and how do i fix it.

Hi Anthony,

Did you completely uninstall your old AV, e.g. McAfee?

Try posting your question in the KAV forum....probably get better results.

Hi,

You might also want to try to temporarily turn off Trojan Hunter and Counterspy real-time scanners. I seem to recollect that I did have some problems with TH, but it may be machine specific.

The Kaspersky forum will be your best bet, but somehow problem has to be narrowed down a bit. What version of KAV are you trying to install?
