Far ahead of any competitors :D

What might be a little worrying is NOD's "not-so-good" performance when it comes to script viruses (see other previous tests at av comparatives too).

where are the details of how the NOD32 scanners were setup?

If it's wasn't a maxxed out installation, it's pretty meaningless... one thing that all of the comparative sites fail to provide is the settings for the various AV solutions. Anyone can cripple a single solution by un-checking one of the more important options... I hold little store in the AV comparison sites... but that's just my 2c...

    regards

    Greg

In the main page of av-comparatives.org :
'The following products were used in the last comparative (with best possible settings)'
    Just my 2c ... :)

If you read the test methodology (.PDF) document at av comparatives, and skip to the FAQ part of this document, you can see under question number 35 what Andreas Clementi (aka IBK at the wilders forums) says about this question (AV-program settings).

Interesting....If v2.12 was used for the test, the new v2.5 ought to do even better!
