Anyone having problems with Nod and GoBack....after lastest Nod install problems began with GoBack......after a Nod scan GoBack backups were gone....i understand this might be expected due to the constant heavy load on HD, but GoBack has yet to 'restart'....i did a repair using the Norton repair program...it did nothing...........before i re-install i sure would like some thoughts on this.....

    Hi RainWalker,

I use both and never had a problem.
    I use Goback 4 and NOD32 since version 2.12.2, now 2.5.
Have you tried to reinstall Goback ?

    Best Regards,

    DonKid.

I'm not using NOD32, but I'm running GoBack 4. I've had all my backups lost a couple of times. I just did a re-start, and all goes back to normal, but you start from scratch. Have you tried that? Only other thing I can think of is uninstall and re-install GoBack.

O.K. guys, thanks for responding.....i un-installed GoBack and it took a full hour to remove backups....backups were no where to be seen in the GUI...........why sooooo long...my machine is fairly fast....3.2 gigs...1.5 gigs ram...................never had a problem with GoBack till Norton got a hold of it ......i should have known better, as i have never been happy with their products..and as i said, i did do a restart ( a number of them over 24 hours ) and it never got going

    Hi RainWalker,

Before you reinstall Goback, use a good defragment tool.
I use perfectdisk 7.0 here at work and my goback.bin is inside of excluded files.

    Best Regards,

    DonKid.
