Default Friend of mine does not know how to clear this virus using nod32

my friend is a new user of nod32 and hes quite impressed with the amount of virus found and cleared,but the problem is everytime he scans his com using NOD32,he gets this: the following possible virus is found but cannot be cleared
"MBR sector of the 1. physical disk contains probably unknown TSR.BOOT virus [7]."

he doesnt run the software and he has the latest updates
so most likely it could be a real virus?
