Okay, I took the plunge and decided to try NOD32. It installed just fine and seemed to work smoothly. I did the "extra settings" that Blackspear recommends. Turned my computer off and when I turned it back on, a window pops up after Windows loads saying that Windows cannot open this file 00631405.rbf. It happens every time I reboot now. Any ideas?

Hi AZZKIKR1:
Do you use the Dantz Retrospect backup software? Quote:

Sounds like a Roll Back File.
Which is a backup of an existing file stored in the hidden CONFIG.MSI directory (C:\Config.Msi). Can you do a search for that file to see if it exists? Quote:

Have you tried installing or uninstalling anything lately? That type of thing can create .rbf files in the \Config.msi folder. It could be that some installation/uninstallation did not go cleanly, and Windows is trying to delete some file that no longer exists.

Yes, I searched for that file but cannot find it.
I don't have the C:\Config.Msi on my system. The only thing I have installed is NOD32. |

Rbf files are Oracle backup files. Would this info help you pinpoint the issue?
