Default how to close "AMON" window in a situation like this

Hi all

I run ad-aware full scan.
"AMON" alerts for file in
C:\ docume~1\login name\temp\AAWTMP\c68297843\2733F\start.exe
Threat:
Win32/TrojanDropper.bridge.A Trojan
Comment:
Event occurred on a new file created by an application.C:\programFiles\Ad-Aware SE Professional\Ad-Aware.exe. The file was moved to quarantine. You may close this window

BUT the window won’t close no matter how many times you hit the close button
all other options were greyed out
HOW TO CLOSE AMON WINDOW IN SUCH A SITUATION

The only option I have is to set ccleaner to clean on next boot and hit Restart
Thanks

Hi hadi:

It appears that Ad-Aware is creating the file. Stop Ad-Aware and the AMON window will stop popping up.

Hi rumpstah
Yes I know that Ad-aware is creating the file. BUT the moment AMON pops-up, Ad-aware freezes-up.sorry not to mention this in my previous message.

Okay. Have you performed a full clean with NOD32?

Hi
yes, and nothing. I know the problem is some cookies ad-aware is picking.these cookies and the file ad-aware created were removed by "ccleaner" SO. every thing is ok. But my concern is AMON thing (why it wont close, any thing I can do other than restart OS) .

Try setting AMON to Clean Automatically. That would stop the popups from multiplying.

Why not a good old-fashioned Ctrl-Alt-Delete and 'End task'?
