Is there an option to restore a single file from a linux true image backup?

    I can't find.

    Thanks, jD.

    Hello JD2004,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are really sorry for the inconveniences. Acronis program is not able to mount Linux EXT2, EXT3 or ReiserFS filesystem under Windows now, but Our Development Team is working on this option and we plan to implement this feature in the future.

Our program plugs images as virtual drives thus enabling to access them as usual drives with the file systems that partitions/disks have when the image was created. At present it's not possible to mount Linux EXT2, EXT3 or ReiserFS filesystems under Windows, because Windows natively cannot see them.

    Thank you.

Yes it's possible, assuming you have the proper filesystem support. For example, if your partition is ReiserFS you can use rfstool to access the files contained within the image. If you're using another type of filesystem, you may need to google for the appripriate software to access the filesystem from Windows.
