Default total disable of windows firewall

hi
i want to disable the windows firewall
i use outpost
i did disattivated it , but is possibily to remove?
can i disable he firewall service?

Yes,

In the run box on the start menue type services.msc. Find Widows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing, click on it and change the start up type to disabled. You can stop the service then, or reboot.

That script looks like overkill to me, and I believe it was discussed in the context of operating a server. I have run a bunch of different firewalls with no apparent conflicts just having the Windoze firewall service turned off.
