so could someone make my avatar transparant, please? i'll be very grateful indeed

Oui monsieur,

Ok, I saved it on my computer and I will

hi, Uguel i'm not complaining one bit, but would it be possible to make the lines abit smoother. i might be wrong but it looks like the black circle isn't as smooth in the transparant version

EDIT hi, mishimasan did you use PhotoFiltre to make it transparant?

Nope, I used Adobe Photoshop CS. It's a very complex and difficult program to use, but once you get used to it, it's the most versatile graphics program on the market .

p.s. Uguel, you are a very nice person - always here helping people with their problems. I was just passing by and saw ice's post, so I just made it transparent in that moment. Sorry .

my freind has Adobe Photoshop CS and i find it about the most complicated program i have seen along with Gimp and afew other of those kinds of programs, i wish there was a way to make them easier to use, i suppose it isn't really possible otherwise they would do it. still i really appreciate your help with my avatar. i wonder why it turned out the way it did i just tried to animate it and it didn't turn out correctly, i really find graphics/animation hard to get right

you are right - Uguel is great, she has helped me in the past when i was about to give up trying to do animations. i hope you aren't apologizing for the avatar, like i said i appreciate any help i can get with graphics problems

hi, Uguel i'm sorry i didn't reply straight away i was at another site and didn't see your post i don't want you go out of your way to get it perfect. if it's any harder then just pressing a couple of buttons don't worry about it. it's not an avatar i'll keep for too long. when i first asked i thought someone would just load it into PhotoFiltre and just press the make transparant button. so, like i said if it's easy that's fine, if not, don't go out of your way thanks

Hi Iceni60,

I'll see if I can improve it.
I was thinking that the best way to make it transparent is
to remove the circle, erase, and then adding a new black circle
after. By the way, what does that avatar represent?

hi, it's the character Aphex Twin uses. out of everything he has released i probably only really like 4-5 of his tracks, but they are really good, everything else is just abit odd. here's some pictures of him

This is my new favourite part of Wilders Security, even though it has nothing to do with Security....

I just got an Epson Perfection 2480 PHOTO scanner, and in doing so I was given Arcsoft Photo Impression 5.... maybe it's something to look at?

Anyway, I have a little winter theme test to bring to the table.

Can anyone make this desert image (courtesy of Herb Ritts) look like a winter image. Feel free to use any program and any filter, just try to make it look unique and interesting.

We can always try, although it won't be easy on that image.
