Uguel, that is a very pretty picture you had in your mind and put up with Pixia, can't decide whether I would really use that or not?

You have to be a good drawer, don't you? Or at least know what/which brushes are for? lol!

How is this Uguel? It is my first one I do have a few questions about the eraser tool, and the magic wand. I actually didn't use those because I wasn't sure how to use them. I just copied and pasted these. I tried the magic wand, but when I was trying to erase, it was all messed up, lol, and I tried different things too, and none of it worked for me.
Also, is there a way to sort of tilt the pictures, kinda like they are laying down on the background, or put in sideways, etc: ? Also maby how to put hearts, or stars in the pic? Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooo much

SONYA! You should be able to add stars, hearts, etc with tubes in PSP? There should be plenty of them, if you want more....there are alot of links back in the thread, that's the easiest way to add them.

Not conversant with the laying down and sideways pictures, yet!

Lol, Beetleboss!!!
Your really crack me up! Of course you can do it

It is good to have new people coming for new people means
new ideas and new projects. And pictures do not have to be laborious
all the time. For instance, I do not always work with layers.

...after this theme, I will also ask other people if they would like
to start a theme too. And of course, when you start a theme,
you're not obliged to post a lot of pics it can be just only one
or two pics per theme. You're free!

Kids sounds good to me!
Ok, one to make you feel more at home BB,
...I was supposed to send it in the "little angels thread"
along with an animation of Alicia I did yesterday but I will send
it here for it will match well with the theme!

No We don't have to do that !!! Thank goodness, lol There is just so much good info way back in this thread, so I am usually on those pages trying to learn how to do this n that, while you all are way up here on the top But if ya really want me to PM you with stuff, I will. Just let me know for sure. I don't mind at all. Although I am sometimes not too good at explaining stuff. So if you can understand gibberish, lol it's on!!!!

hey Sonia,
this is a very nice pic that you have here!
and that blue background is gorgeous!

Well, you could have erased the background of every pic and stick
each of them as a new layer and then decrease the opacity BUT
it is ONE WAY of doing it. There are other easier ways of doing it without
compromising the quality of the pic too much.

What I usually do after I open the background pic in PSP along with the other pics to be pasted. I take the Freehand Selection Tool with the tolerance or "Feather" set between * 22 and 26 then I cut the pic (the one that will be pasted into the background) with the Freehand Selection Tool and when I cut it... I cut it by doing li'l zig zags along the edge (see screenshot)...do not forget to join the lines of the selection together when you're done...once it is all selected, I copy the selection and pasted it "as a new layer" into the background picture (Ctrl+L), then I go to the layer Palette, and I decrease the opacity of the new pasted image until I am satisfied with the result. Normally, the opacity can be adjusted between 45 and 75 pixels. you do the same with all the other pics you want to paste into your background.

Once you are done, you can save your pic as a .JPG

*If there is just little space between the subject and the border
of the pic, the tolerance must be set lower, so it can be 18 to 20 pixels.

...see screenshot, of the Free Hand Selection
the tolerance/Feather was set to 26 pixels first, but I had to decrease it to 22 pixels because I couldn't get the parts that were close to the borders.

See the background and the pony selection pasted in it.
As you can see from the Layers Palette, the opacity
was set to 60. Of course it works even better with
a background that has many designs or colours in it.
I chose a solid colour (green) for you to see better.

Alicia, Sam and all the other kids are living their best
part of their life why not celebrating it?

No one said we had to do human babies, right?

OK then- here is a picture that I decided to do something different with, put fur on already fur bearing animals.

What a concept! I just wanted to see what it would look like, that's all.

They have been re-furred about three times, the color was brought out with color revive, sharpened a few times then a light blur.

The border is chiseled with cracuqelure () from Redfield filters twice, this is A Special Moment.

Thanks,

Marja

This must be this little guy's first tree climbing experience, he looks to be asking, "You Sure About This"?

I mainly used just different lighting on the picture, tried different effects but it ruined the look on this cat's face........so lighting with the VP filter, borders with Lattice maker from Redfiled, about two times with different settings, so that's all!

Thanks!

Marja
