After uninstalling all the Acronis True Image V8, as recommended by the tech dept at Acronis, I then upgraded to build 800, but still failed to create an image of my C Drive via CDRoms. In the event that build 800 would not work either, I downloaded the following file: [as I was also told to do]:http://www.acronis.com/files/support/TrueImage 8.0_cdlog_s_en.zip.
I downloaded and installed it, and it turned out to be the same build 786, as I previously had on my computer.
I am at a loss as to what to do re future upgrades that become available. Do I install them, and then reinstall over them the same build 786? Will this build 786 ever be upgraed itself? Or, should I never bother with any future upgrades?
    Can someone help me?

    Hello Kimjor,

I am really sorry for not mentioning that. Please install the file you have downloaded and reproduce the problem. After you reproduce the problem cdrecord.log file will be generated in \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\CDRecord folder. It is needed for the problem diagnostics. Please send it to support@acronis.com along with the description of your actions.

    Thank you.
