I'm trying to restore my boot C: drive and I get the message that there are programs using that drive and I need to reboot letting Acronis handle the startup in what appears to be the safe mode. Okay. Acronis starts the boot and I see a bunch of "time out " errors. It continues the boot. But when I go to select the drive that my image is located on I can't "see" that drive (a USB external drive). Of course when I'm getting ready to perform the restore inside Windoze Acronis it sees that image drive just fine. How the heck am I supposed to make this thing work?

Hello Dennis,
Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing...cts/trueimage/). First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download. After that please create new Acronis Bootable CD with the latest build using "Create Bootable Rescue Media" tool and boot from it. After you get to Acronis True Image main screen please choose "Restore Image" wizard and follow the instructions in wizard. Thank you. -- Ilya Toytman
