Smile Windows File Protection Switcher

Windows File Protection Switcher lets you disable
and reenable Windows File Protection (WFP).

Windows File Protection Switcher should work with any version of Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003.

Default Re: Windows File Protection Switcher

Does this also work on Windows Me? Because WinMe also has a System File Protection feature...

Question Re: Windows File Protection Switcher

Firecat, I'm sorry to say that I don't think it supports Windows Me.

The info says:

Successfully tested with:
Windows 2000 Gold
Windows 2000 SP4
Windows XP SP1
Windows XP SP2
Windows Server 2003 Gold
Windows Server 2003 SP1 (RC1)

But I found a link, on how to do it. It involves a lot of tweaking and it will uninstall PCHealth and System Restore...:
http://www.mdgx.com/me1.htm

Scroll down to the header "UNINSTALL PCHEALTH + SYSTEM RESTORE"

Hope you like it.
