Default AcronisPartitionExpert - ERROR: Disk not found???

Trying to re-shape my HDD partition.

I'm trying to increase size of D by taking from C. However when I "COMMIT" on re-boot I get...

ERROR: Disk not found...press any key to continue.

Then it fires up with the partitions as they were originally. I'm stumped. Any clues?

recently i had some similar problems with discdirector suite. it complained about bad sectors. then i used the bootable rescue disc and did all partition work with that program outside windows. no problems then. maybe this approach will work for you too.

Hello tisatashar and Me to,

Thank you for choosing Acronis software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

Please install the below update with disabled logging and see whether the problem persists.

http://www.acronis.com/files/support/SnapAPI_s_e.exe

If the problem does persist, please create Acronis Report in the way described at http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 and send it to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread.

Thank you.

I have the same issue. Are you running of SATA or Raid by any chance? The drive I am trying to resize is off the SATA bus, when Acronis boots it doesn't see the SATA. That's what I am thinking.
