A friend told me she had this trojan and can't get rid of it. I can't find any information on it anywhere.
Have any of you ever heard of it? |

Is your friend using AVG as his AntiVirus program?

OK. If it's only one entry he has to find the file and be carefull not to doubleclick it, because it's probably a lop.com installer.
This is probably not the case since it should be easy to remove. If he has several he should download Spybot S&D and make sure to update it before he scans his computer. After that he should remove at least all the entries in red. Let me know if that helped, Pieter

Thanks Pieter I'll pass this on and see if it will help.
Just curious - you asked about AVG - is there a connection here? Again thanks. |

I happen to know AVG detects lop.com as MusicSearch Trojan.
Lop is in the top 5 of worst cases of spyware, so that's not a bad thing. I just wanted to make sure this was not something completely different. Regards, Pieter
