Where can I get an antiKeylogger scanner that will work with Win98SE?

  2. Spycop is a top notch anti-keylogger. http://www.spycop.com I also like the program Security Task Manager http://www.neuber.com STM finds a lot more than just keyloggers too, like rootkits and trojans ect... Both will work with Win 98, but neither is a freebie. I like the combination of both of these programs myself. I use one to double check any findings in the other.

Spybot, Ad-aware, Bazooka spyware scanner, & X-Cleaner will all find some keyloggers too. All are either free or have free versions, but there not as good as Spycop or Security Task Manager at finding keyloggers.

Even most AVs will find at least some keyloggers......some more than others, but I wouldn't rely on just your AV to find them. Good luck.

The Webroot SpySweeper trial is a good idea. It is fully functional for, I think, 30 days. Also, I have seen it on sale for 19 USD at several places lately. Spy Sweeper is well worth that! As far as I'm concerned, it just gets better and better.

As a matter of fact, you don't have to worry about going to Compusa or Costco or whatever for the Spy Sweeper retail deal. Newegg.com (the King of online everything for computers) has the download for $19.99 at:
    http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=1300105SF&depa=0
It's usually $29.99 at the stores. Using the "update" button it will update to version 3.5. Spy Sweeper has a HUGE Keylogger database.
