Default Hosting a secure email service

Hosting your own secure email service, anyone tried CryptoMail.org's CMES? A GPL web-based secure email client and server app. The server stores email in PGP, then when you read the email, the JavaApplet client decrypted the messages. Very much messages are encrypted all the way from server to client. That sound great, now the system admin can't read me email, or hackers can't hack in my box and read my email too.
