I use Planet Save. It's a very clean 12mb mailbox. Only one small ad, their own. They've been very reliable, good enough for me to make them my primary e-mail, even though I also have Yahoo, which is much slower. My cheap internet service doesn't have e-mail so I have to use webmail, and they've been excellent.
A portion of all their proceeds goes towards saving rainforest lands. Besides being a good, reliable e-mail, they're in line with my beliefs and values, which would also be reason enough.

Just Yahoo, and that's strictly a "junk mail" address -- even Yahoo themselves, if for some reason they need to contact me, use my preferred address at my ISP's POP addy.

I don't supply the Yahoo addy anywhere on the net, so I have to assume the junk that goes there is the result of bots adding "@ Yahoo.com" to whatever members' names they can come up with. And of course, given the way Y works, 99-plus percent of those are probably valid addresses, even if inactive.

I used to have a hotmail account, but I got tired of all the annoying spam.

Now I use mainly Yahoo. For one, my family in Germany uses it too ~ makes me kind of feel a bit more 'connected' with them that way. Plus we use their messenger together.

And also because Yahoo has a decent Spam Filter in my opinion, and last but not least, they raised their storage limit from...what was it ..? 4 MB to
    250 MB. Not too bad.

    But then there is also Gmail.....aahh YES ! :D Thank's to BigC....! :) ;)

I have been stung by Hotmail spam before, so avoid it with a barge.

I have had a yahoo account for ages, never had anything more than minor glitches with it, felt no need to swap to gmail... infact my Yahoo mail account is one of the old school ones that has pop access.

I tend to use my web hostings web mail service, not brilliant, but good enough, as I prefer to download my email to my laptop rather than use webmail.
