What are the reasons ZA is your choice for "the under-informed," rather than SPF? Just wondering... :)

pcInternet Patrol IS set it and forget it . If something tries to get in that it is unfamiliar with , it will ask whether you want to allow or block but , will always default to their professional opinion . No need to really think . Just click and go . This is the easiest firewall ( software ) known . And , as I have said before . It does more than protect from simple intruders . It protects against trojans , worms , viruses . Zero day attacks . It is expensive but , look at what you get . $ 59 U.S. I think is fair . $ 99 , IMHO , is not . Very good and as easy as it gets .

    I don't trust online installers.
    PCIP is an online installer.

Dunno what crap they're putting on my system...

Say, for example...... whether any self contained spyware is being installed along with the main program [examples of a trusted company doing this are plenty... Gator, Microsoft ~Windows~ ~Office 2003~, Zone Alrm was rumored as well to have a phone home feature....]
[I think I said this on another thread too, but didn't elaborate at all]
