Can this be used as a viable replacement for TrueImage v8? I went to the website and read the datasheets and looked at the side by side comparisons and it seems to me that the Workstation version is an "Enhanced" version of the home version! Supports remote operations and has a remote management console but is there any other major difference or can you use this on a home network PC?

Hello the_Wop,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image Corporate Workstation (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATICW/). You may use Acronis True Image 8.0 Corporate Workstation on your home computer however the main purpose of this version is to give the ability of remote operations. The whole comparison list for all versions of Acronis True Image is available at http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/pr...omparison.html If you have further questions concerning Acronis software please feel free to ask. Thank you. -- Ilya Toytman

dont let the remote management fool you, its what it says, its just managing images remotely. its NOT remote install of images on machines!
the acronis true image corp is much better than acronis true image in terms of hardware support and network support seems to be fluid |

Thanks for the prompt replies, maybe "remote management" isn't enhancement enough to warrant purchasing this version over the regular home version after all, huh?
